Shifting from reactivity to responsiveness

Do you notice your physicality when you lead?

A unique combination of three practices

Many people bring only part of themselves to work and so appear to be living unfulfilling lives. Moreover, our bodies store the stresses of daily life – from work, travel and relationships – to the detriment of our wellbeing. Releasing these tensions enables you to focus on the ‘now’, mobilise your energy for new projects and feel more engaged at work.

Our approach is a combination of three powerful practices:

Draw out the ‘Wise Self’

What might feel real in the moment is what we typically react to. On reflection we sometimes realise that our reactions were not what we would have chosen if we had had more time to reflect or less stress from our surroundings. Our ‘wise’ selves would have been responsive rather than reactive. We draw out your ‘wise self’ so that this conscious presence becomes an on-going resource in your daily life

Cultivate presence

Mindfulness exercises help you to reflect on your perceived truths, supporting you to release stress, clear your mind and improve your well-being.

Cultivating presence – your capacity to be ‘present’ with whatever is occurring without arguing with reality – strengthens your ability to stay centred during times of change and challenge.

Physical balancing

Even a one-off session of Shiatsu can boost energy levels, improve clarity of thinking and enable better sleep.

Shiatsu, which in Japanese means ‘finger pressure, is a form of massage therapy on fully clothed bodies. It works on pressure points to help bring balance to the body based on the principles of Chinese medicine.
